I saw LEGO Santa in LEGOLAND Windsor at Christmas!

My Christmas London Tourism adventures continue with my next trip to LEGOLAND Windsor, to check out the LEGOLAND at Christmas season! With some attractions closed for the low season, LEGOLAND Windsor celebrates Christmas with special entertainment offerings like Elf Training Academy, the Nutcracker’s Band playing live Christmas music, the chance to meet LEGO Santa and the evening Festival of Flurries Show featuring the friendly LEGO Snowman. I also checked out the Pizza & Pasta Buffet Restaurant – including their Christmas Pizza offering – and attractions like Autumn’s Riding Adventure and the (Ice) Dragon Roller Coaster! Plus, armed with my brand new Camera, I took another look around Mainland to check out its special Christmas decorations and scene changes.

Turkish Airlines Economy: London Heathrow to Tokyo Narita via Istanbul

The Parks for the Thirty-Fourth – Tokyo Drift gets underway at last! This trip takes me to Japan to celebrate my 34th birthday by visiting not one, not two, not three but five theme parks – including the bucket list dreams of Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea at the Tokyo Disney Resort! But first, I had to get there! I flew with Turkish Airlines in Economy from London Heathrow to Istanbul Airport aboard an Airbus A321neo and then on to Tokyo Narita on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. You’ll see my lunch at Carl’s Jr in Istanbul, all the food and seat facilities onboard each flight, my lunch the next day at Saizeriya in Ikspiari at Tokyo Disney Resort, a look around my hotel room at the CVS Bay Hotel and all my first day purchases from Bon Voyage, the Disney Store and my first visit to a Japanese konbini (convenience store), Lawson!

Mandrill Mayhem at Chessington World of Adventures Surprised Me

My London Area Theme Park Week concludes with a visit to Chessington World of Adventures, the park I’ve least recently visited previously. I went in without doing much to refresh my memory so I could have an explore and discover some things for myself on the day. It paid off quickly when I stumbled across the World of Jumanji headliner Mandrill Mayhem – an incredible launched shuttle wing coaster.

I tried to ride Thorpe Park’s Ghost Train

I returned to Thorpe Park later in September following my day riding every roller coaster in the park for a more relaxed mid week visit, figuring I could check out the Ghost Train for the first time while I was there. Did I manage to get it done? Let’s find out! While I was there, I of course also made sure to revisit the major roller coasters again, with spells on Hyperia, Colossus, SAW: The Ride, The Swarm, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth & The Walking Dead: The Ride

I tried to ride every roller coaster at Thorpe Park in one day

I’ve joined the Merlin Annual Pass club and to celebrate my newfound freedom to visit theme parks whenever I like, I hit up the UK’s most thrilling theme park – Thorpe Park – with the goal of scratching my roller coaster itch. Would I be able to ride every single roller coaster at the park – all eight of them – in one single day, on my first try? Join me on this vlog to find out the answer.

So I Tried The M&S Strawberry & Creme Sandwich

For the 2025 Wimbledon Championships, Marks & Spencer have released a Limited Edition Sandwich – the Red Diamond Strawberry & Creme sandwich – based on the famous dessert sando sold at conbinis in Japan. Ahead of my trip to Japan later this year, I decided this was the perfect time to try one to see what all the fuss is about and so I can compare it to the real thing when I’m visiting Tokyo & Osaka.

Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Airport – Vlog & Review

Join me on my first overnight trip away from home in well over a year as I take a weekend staycation at the Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Airport, a mid-tier airport hotel located at the Heathrow Airport perimeter with airport views, included breakfast, fast Wi-Fi and comfortable modern rooms. This video tours the room, shows the kinds of views you can enjoy of aircraft – including some of the British Airways service areas, takes a look at some of the hotel common areas and amenities which were available during the partial lockdown and shows what the included breakfast is like whilst buffet services are suspended.
