Day three of Planes, Trains & Millennium Falcons, my October 2024 trip to California for Disneyland, Disney California Adventure & Universal Studios Hollywood took me back to Disney California Adventure for the first time since 2016, when it shot straight to the top of my list of favourite theme parks. Will it reclaim its crown?

With rides on Radiator Springs Racers, Incredicoaster, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! (plus Monsters After Dark), Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Grizzly River Run and more, it certainly brought the goods. All that, plus Mickey’s PhilharMagic and lunch at Flo’s V8 Cafe make for a fantastic Saturday in the Disneyland Resort!

But wait! There’s more! I also got some time to explore Downtown Disney and hop over to Disneyland Park for Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, Halloween Screams with Fireworks, a surprise preview of Fantasmic! & my second visit to Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion for Haunted Mansion Holiday.
