My London Area Theme Park Week concludes with a visit to Chessington World of Adventures, the park I’ve least recently visited previously. I went in without doing much to refresh my memory so I could have an explore and discover some things for myself on the day. It paid off quickly when I stumbled across the World of Jumanji headliner Mandrill Mayhem – an incredible launched shuttle wing coaster.

The coaster fun continued with Vampire – a Chessington classic, Dragon’s Fury & Rattlesnake. Plus, there’s Croc Drop, Blue Barnacle, Mamba Strike, Ostrich Stampede, The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure – a successor to my childhood favourite Professor Burp’s Bubbleworks, Tomb Blaster and checking out the animals – Chessington World of Adventures was once just Chessington Zoo after all – including on the Safari ride Zufari: Ride into Africa!

Shot on DJI Osmo Pocket 3, Pentax X-5 and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Finished on LumaFusion.
